Brendy Boj’s work is recognized by the «Maestro 100 puntos» Award

This Award began in 2006, highlighting each year’s pre-school, elementary, and middle school teachers, as well as principals from all over the country. It seeks them to do their best to make the learning process more effective. To date, 182 teachers and 16 principals have been recognized nationwide.

The Carlos F. Novella Foundation is aware of the importance of educational processes and teachers role in education. Therefore, it has been part of this initiative since the award was launched.

Brendy Adalicia Boj: Maestra 100 puntos

Brendy Adalicia Boj was one of the awards 2022 winners, in the category of «Middle School Teacher». She works at the «San Juan de Dios» Public School for Elementary Education in zone 6.

Her achievements include creating video tutorials for all levels, organizing content, and exemplifying musical application. She was also recognized for promoting learning, using applications that help students tune guitars, keep time with a metronome, perform rhythmic exercises, and write musical scores.

Brendy does not hide her enthusiasm or her surprise when receiving this award. «I am honored to receive this award. I have been in this profession for 14 years. As time moves forward I continue every day, passionate and committed, fighting for musical education in Guatemala, as well as transforming lives from the classroom».

For the music teacher, receiving the Maestro 100 Puntos award has been a learning experience from beginning to end. She has the opportunity to see the dreams she had when she began her teaching career, come true.
