124 years ago, Progreso began to build a project without a deadline. An idea where a company’s goal is to harmoniously and collectively find a transcendent purpose to build together the country where we all want to live.

The company’s presence in seven countries in the region, while exporting activities its main products to North and South America, permanently improve the quality of life of the people living in the continent, providing quality products, and solutions that are both efficient and innovative.

The Story’s beginning

In its beginning, the company was called Carlos F. Novella y Cia. It was the third-largest cement factory in Latin America (only Brazil and Cuba had similar facilities).
