Progreso X, Progreso’s corporate accelerator, is proud to announce the winners of the Exponential Changemakers 2023. Eleven startups from around the world competed in this evento by developing pilot projects in collaboration with different business units from Progreso.

The project aims to drive, create, design, and bring disruptive ideas to life for the worlds benefit through collaborative innovation between Progreso, startups, and their ecosystem. The Exponential Changemakers (ECM) 2023 proposed creating open innovation processes to find solutions that contribute to both the quantitative and qualitative housing deficit in the region.

«In this fifth edition, our vision is to harness disruptive technologies to create more affordable and quality housing solutions,» expressed Erick Melgar, General Manager of Progreso X.

The startups that participated in this edition of ECM were: BIMTrazer, Terrand, and Findo from Argentina; Toperty and Spybee from Colombia; PasanaQ from Bolivia, Tumi Robotics from Peru, Hauzd from Panama, Imaginex from the United States/Colombia; Hydrosafe from Mexico, and Kreditt from Guatemala.

Here are the winners of the 5th edition of the Exponential Changemakers by Progreso X:

Findo: Develops technology to generate alternative credit information. The solution lies in developing, modeling, and testing technology that analyzes non-traditional information, such as smartphone data. This enables banks, financial institutions, credit cards, and loan fintechs to provide financial services to thousands of people who had been previously excluded.

Hauzd: Aims to transform real estate projects’ presentation and sale through its Digital Twin 3D platform. They offer cost and time efficiency, cloud platform centralization, and unique immersive experiences. Their innovative platform integrates 3D content on websites and mobile devices, enhancing the purchasing experience and accelerating sales.

BIMTrazer: A Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that uses BIM, Artificial Intelligence, and blockchain to optimize construction projects by real-time planning and monitoring. This approach attracts a wide range of industry professionals to effectively collaborate and a technology-driven transformation.

Terrand: A digital platform that integrates all of a company’s operational departments and elevates an organization’s safety standards. The platform has three pillars: a mobile application that allows field users to perform operational tasks such as risk notifications, audits, and accident and incident investigation reports, among others.

Following this selection of winners, pilot projects lasting 6 to 12 months, will be carried out. These pilots aim to validate the new technologies, followed by co-development with Progreso multidisciplinary teams to create suitable products and services for the various sectors and markets the company serves throughout Guatemala and the region.
