Progreso X’s Exponential Changemakers, aims to identify startups with technology-based business models that can offer innovative solutions in operational efficiency, building systems and sustainability within the construction industry.
This year, the final competition or “Pitch Competition” will take place at Building Latam Fest, an event to be held on November 28 and 29 at the University of Engineering and Technology (UTEC) in Lima, Peru. During the event, in addition to participating in the final competition, participants will have the opportunity to connect with the Latin American innovation ecosystem, exchange ideas and showcase new technologies.
1. Operational Efficiency: Supply chain and operational processes optimization.
2. Building systems: Innovations in building technologies and systems, including thermal insulation solutions.
3. Sustainability: Water technologies and circularity, as well as the capture and optimization of water use.
4. The Future of construction: Application of 4.0 and disruptive technologies in the industry.
This program offers startups (emerging companies or ventures) the possibility of scaling their solutions through strategic collaborations with Progreso X and Lamosa. Benefits for participants include mentoring, access to corporate infrastructure, the opportunity to develop pilot projects and the possibility of establishing long-term relationships with Progreso and other key industry players.

The strategic partnership with Next By Lamosa and La Mezcladora, Peru’s largest construction innovation hub, reinforces Progreso X’s commitment to creating a strong and collaborative innovation ecosystem throughout the region.
The event invites all technology startups in Latin America to apply to the “Pitch Competition” and be part of this initiative that promises to mark a before and after in the construction industry and technological innovation.
In the fifth edition of Exponential Changemarkers 2023, Progreso X recognized startups Findo, Hauzd, BIMTrazer and Terrand, who implemented innovative projects in areas such as credit technology, real estate presentations, and construction process optimization. The sixth edition invites new startups to become part of this innovation ecosystem and scale their ideas in Latin America.
