The race took place to honor Plinio Herrera’s legacy, who for more than 50 years promoted health and fellowship among employees. Two notable attendees were Plinio Estuardo Herrera, CETEC’s Research and Development Manager, and Catalino Carrera, a member of Progreso’s Águilas de Oro (Golden Eagles) program. Mr. Carrera has worked at Progreso for 43 years.
The activity was organized by Orlando Jose Paez Rodriguez, Head of the Electrical Workshop of the San Miguel Plant, who actively participated in the awards ceremony alongside Plinio Estuardo Herrera and Mario Orellana for the different categories of the race.
