Cementos Progreso Volunteers and the #48 Scout group from La Pedrera carried out the “Rocks Lab” pilot. They shared knowledge about the rock life cycle, conducted experiments, and showcased their importance in daily life.
During the activity, the girls had the opportunity to learn about limestone, cement’s raw material, and other rocks used in aggregate production for construction.
This exciting workshop was made possible thanks to the support of volunteers from CETEC, Licencia Social and with guides from Cementos Progreso’s Scout group #48, who enthusiastically promoted this educational activity, fostering interest in science in the new generations.
