In this meeting, the delegation headed by engineer Guillermo Monterroso was able to learn about the operational, environmental, and social management processes that Agreca implements at its plant in the Xecaracoj canton, in the department of Quetzaltenango’s capital, located in western Guatemala.
A tour of the plant’s various facilities was given with emphasis on forest seedling production in the nursery, the recovery of specific areas, as well as learning about forest management activities that are already established.
The government delegation was grateful for Agreca’s openness regarding their good practices and transparency implemented in all that they do.
