As part of the Guatemala International Book Fair (FILGUA), Progreso and the Carlos F. Novella Foundation presented a moving adaptation of the Three Little Pigs story, with a renewed focus: teaching how to build responsibly, resiliently, and with quality materials.
The protagonists are no longer just fleeing from the wolf; they now reflect on the value of doing things right from the begining. The message was enthusiastically received by more than a thousand students from different parts of the country. Among them were students from the Enrique Novella Alvarado School (ENA), San Gabriel campus, who enjoyed the story and actively participated.
The storytelling activity was led by Edgar Molina «El Pollo» and Mariela Estrada «Encuenthada.»
This version of the children’s classic not only entertains, but also educates, inspires, and instills the desire to build a better tomorrow, with solid foundations, effort, and commitment in young people. Because a good story can also lay foundations.
This adaptation of the Three Little Pigs story invites us to learn about the value of building responsibly and resiliently, using high quality materials. It’s a story about resilience, responsibility, and the quiet pride that comes from a job well done.
