More than 20 people from Business Future of the Americas -BFA- 2024, including the US Chamber of Commerce Vice President for the Americas Anne Mackinney, recently visited the San Gabriel plant in San Juan Sacatepéquez, thanks to the support of Amigos Progreso.
This visit kicked off the BFA, where key issues, focused on economic and national security, as well as promoting infrastructure investments were addressed. The regional importance for the United States and our countries was highlighted, adopting sustainable and innovative practices.
The BFA 2024 event was held in Antigua Guatemala, and its main objective was to strengthen economic prosperity and facilitate trade in the region.
The event fosters strategic collaboration and exchanging ideas among the American Chambers of Commerce in Latin America, the US Chamber of Commerce, government representatives from the United States and Guatemala, as well as private sector leaders from the region.
During the visit to the San Gabriel Plant, visitors had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the operations of one of the most advanced industrial facilities in the region.
The San Gabriel plant is recognized for its innovative and sustainable practices, becoming an example to follow in terms of sustainability and good social practices.
This visit reaffirms Progreso’s commitment to maintain transparency in its operations, opening its doors to all those interested in learning more about the processes and practices carried out in the different production plants.
