This event, held on March 26th, brought together various management teams and plant personnel in an effort to promote accident prevention in the workplace.
The initiative, supported by the «Enrique Novella Alvarado» School, had a comprehensive approach that involved the entire workforce community. One its highlights was the involvement of employees’ children, who presented prevention-related phrases and handed them to their parents.
This gesture not only served as a reminder of the importance of workplace safety but also reinforced the sense of mutual responsibility among members of the workforce community.
Around 250 employees directly benefited from this event, which offered a series of significant advantages. In addition to participating in an industry-leading safety initiative, attendees had access to impactful prevention messages, uniquely presented by the employees’ children.
This experience not only served as a reminder of the importance of workplace safety but also fostered a deeper personal commitment to accident prevention.
Additional benefits for employees include reinforcing the importance of looking out for each other and working together to ensure that everyone returns home safe and sound every day. This sense of community and commitment to the well-being of all employees and their families is crucial for creating a safe and healthy work environment.
The Zero Accidents Vision is a cornerstone in all of Progreso’s operations, reflecting an active commitment to the safety and well-being of its employees.
By working towards this vision, Cementos Progreso’s San Gabriel Plant not only seeks to prevent accidents but also to cultivate a culture of awareness and responsibility that drives operational success in all areas of its business.
