Promoting Economic growth and urban mobility by paving Calle El Calvario in San Antonio La Paz, El Progreso

Paving the street leading to the cemetery (Calle El Calvario) in San Antonio La Paz, El Progreso resulted in improving traffic flow and fostering commerce.

2,200 square meters of the most important commercial exchange zone in the municipality was paved.

The paved street is comfortable for pedestrians and drivers, offering better infrastructure and making commerce in the area more attractive.

Progreso promotes collaborative work between communities and municipal authorities to enhance infrastructure that not only serves commercial activities but also connects to educational establishments and other secondary streets in the municipality.

Progreso provided cement, while the municipality contributed labor, aggregates, and machinery. Residents participated with unskilled labor and coordination to ensure the project’s completion.

Socially Responsible Activities

As a result of this collaborative effort, San Antonio La Paz boasts its main street, which is now accessible to residents and merchants.

In total, 1,200 people directly benefit from this project, with over 10,000 indirect beneficiaries who pass through the area.

The project was completed in 45 days, setting a construction and paving record for the department of El Progreso.

In this manner, the company promotes socially responsible, community-committed initiatives.
