Cementos Progreso Costa Rica shines at Expo Construcción 2024

Under the premise of building "Strong foundations for happy homes," Cementos Progreso Costa Rica participated in Expo Construcción 2024, which took place from January 24th to 28th at the Pedregal Events Center.
In Costa Rica, Progreso offers a wide range of products, including general-purpose cement for floors, and sidewalks, among others; industrial cement for structural loads such as beams, columns, mezzanines, and prefabricated elements; concrete; and mortars, such as various ceramic adhesives and renders, as well as block adhesive mortar, dry mortar, and dry concrete, all characterized by their strength, ease of use, innovation, and durability.
Progreso is committed to innovation and cutting-edge research and development, which is why it offers products like pigmented concrete or «colored concrete,» contributing versatility and dynamism to Costa Rican architecture. This integral-colored concrete adds vibrancy and aesthetic appeal to architectural designs, reflecting Progreso’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of construction materials.

For Ewald Scheel, Country Director of Cementos Progreso Costa Rica, quality construction relies on using the best materials, including the freshest cement available.

Another of the attractions that Progreso showcased at the expo was the ability to produce and work with colored concrete. Andrés Bolaños Amerling, Director of Construction Solutions, pointed out that they have brought various projects to life by differentiating colored concrete. «For example, we have developed everything from houses, sidewalks, and columns to complete luxury complexes with walls in a color similar to the sand of the beach where the construction is located.»
The interaction and positive feedback from visitors left great moments at Expo Construcción 2024. Customers and collaborators reaffirmed the Guatemalan brands’ regional leadership and the positive implications each bag of cement has in the Costa Rican market.
