Cementos Progreso celebrates its official launch in the Dominican Republic with the presentation of its Leadership Agenda, marking a new stage of growth and commitment in the Caribbean.
Cementos Progreso has taken an important step in the regional market with the official presentation of its Leadership Agenda in the Dominican Republic.
This event, held at the San Pedro Plant in the province of San Pedro de Macorís, was aimed at the company’s in-country employees and marked the official integration of the Dominican Republic into Cementos Progreso’s operations.
The Leadership Agenda is a key initiative to strengthen the organizational culture and consolidate Progreso’s vision in the region.
With this strategy, the company reaffirms its commitment to operational excellence, talent development and sustainability, fundamental pillars to Progreso’s management approach.
This agenda is implemented through seven strategic axes that establish company norms and values, promoting leadership based on effective communication, talent recognition, and fulfilling commitments.
Progreso leaders are characterized by:
– Working safely and promoting good health habits.
– Providing relevant information and promoting dialogue.
– Living by, modeling, and promoting company values.
– Recognizing and valuing a job well done.
– Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
– Meet established commitments and goals.
– Work on your development and that of your peers.
The ceremony was full of significant moments, beginning with a blessing by Monsignor Santiago Rodríguez, who gave a message of prosperity and success to all those present.
This symbolic gesture highlighted the importance of the ethics, responsibility, and commitment that Cementos Progreso assumes in every community where it operates.
The launch also included a very special dynamic: a baseball game in which company executives participated in a symbolic pitch, representing the beginning of a new trajectory for the country.
Among the leaders who took part in this activity were Stephanie Melville, president of Progreso; José Raúl González, CEO of Cementos Progreso; Enrique García, director of the Caribbean Region; and Juan Gabriel Rijo, director of Operations.
With this event, Cementos Progreso celebrates its arrival in the Dominican Republic and strengthens its goal of becoming a leading construction company in the Caribbean.
Implementing the Leadership Agenda is key to fostering work team integration, promoting a strong service culture and ensuring that the company’s values are maintained at every step of its growth.
In addition, this initiative is aligned with the Code of Values, Ethics and Conduct (COVEC), which guides daily decision-making and strengthens the company’s leadership culture.
Cementos Progreso remains committed to innovation, quality, and community involvement, consolidating its position as a key player in the Dominican market.
