Clinker kiln maintenance was successfully completed in Costa Rica

Maintenance included the replacement of refractory brick in the kiln and the upper section of the calciner, kiln chamber reconstruction, repairs to kiln rim No. 3, as well as main motor maintenance.

Maintenance began on July 4 and culminated on July 23, when the raw flour was fed into the oven. It is worth mentioning that the process was carried out without injury or suspension incidents.

In Costa Rica and Guatemala, the new lessons learned and success factors have significantly strengthened the work of the multidisciplinary teams.

The operational achievement in the Central American country allows the company to meet the clinker production and operational performance challenges, which have been set in order to achieve sustainability and consolidate efficient processes.
