Meet the 46 New Members of the Covec Leaders Program

The Covec Leaders Program, known for its commitment to developing skilled and dedicated leaders, has taken a significant step forward by integrating 46 new members into its latest ‘class’.

The Covec Leaders Program marks a milestone in its history and reflects Progreso’s commitment to nurturing and empowering collaborators with leadership potential.

Integrating 46 new leaders is the result of a process that identifies team members with exceptional skills, a passion for service, and a commitment to Progreso’s values.

From various fields and disciplines, these leaders bring a diversity of perspectives and experiences that will enrich the program and enhance the commitment to values and ethics.

With this new integration, the values of Progreso culture are strengthened, and knowledge and communication about Covec is enhanced. In addition, there is an increased culture of recognition within the corporation.

Since 2019, Líderes Progreso focused on its growth across different areas, ensuring that every company site had Covec leaders.

A Tireless Effort

A Covec Leader is an ambassador and spokesperson for Progreso’s Code of Values, Ethics, and Conduct. They are responsible collaborators who embody these values in all aspects of their professional and personal lives.

Incorporating these new leaders demonstrates Progreso’s ongoing commitment to excellence and innovation in leadership development.

Leaders Across the Region

Currently, there are 158 Covec leaders distributed as follows:

  • 119 in Guatemala
  • 14 in Costa Rica
  • 15 in Panama
  • 7 in El Salvador
  • 1 in Colombia
  • 2 in Belize

These leaders are tasked with onboarding new associates, organizing learning and training activities, conducting site activations, ensuring the annual renewal of the Covec commitment, and promoting the Valorómetro recognition program, among other responsibilities.
