Construction machines provide advantages because they reduce execution time and make efficient use of materials. With Ready Mix Ready Mixes, today we will learn how to apply a plaster with a machine in a simple and practical way. Join us!

When we listen to the use of machinery during a construction process, we must understand that the advantages obtained contribute positively according to the context of the project. The machinery facilitates the process of applying a coating mortar, increasing speed, productivity and reducing work times and the physical effort used to carry out the task.

The use of these machines begins to be profitable in projects with enough area of application to achieve continuous work. At the national level it is used in vertical construction, series housing and private housing construction.

To better illustrate the content, we will use the M-Tec Mono-Mix-II-SC plaster machine model.

For this we must have the voltage (220V) and water pressure (greater than 2.5 Bar) required by the machinery. We also recommend having enough plaster material close to the application to ensure continuity.

This model of machinery contemplates mixing and works with dry material, so it is recommended to use a pre-dosed plaster in a bag.

How to do it?

Prior to the application, the surface must be prepared, for which guides or tapes are placed that will dictate the application thicknesses (1 centimeter layers) and the surface is moistened.

Next, the machine must be turned on and the dry mortar must be added to the hopper to perform the calibration, regulating the flow of water in the machine and carrying out a verification test of the consistency of the plaster to be thrown.

The next step is to project the plaster onto the surface, filling the desired space, you must have two people to do the job. One person who operates the machine and keeps the hopper filled with material, and the second person in charge of operating the discharge.

When all the desired space has been filled, the material is leveled with drag, leveling the places where material is missing and then giving the desired finish to the plaster.
